  No one should hire this pool company. This season, we allowed them to close our salt water pool, but, after the fiasco last year when they drained the pool directly into our woods, rather than, as is legally required, running the hose to the street where the water could enter the sewer, we asked them to be sure to drain to the street. We made this request both in writing and verbally. My husband made sure they understood that they were only to come by appointment with him, so that he could be there and be sure it was done correctly. They assured him that it would be done, and that they had a hose of the correct length. This is a great concern, because when that heavily salted water is absorbed by the roots of trees, the trees will die. Nor is chlorine healthy for plants. Well, they did not contact my husband. They came without an appointment, and drained perhaps 20,000 gallons of water directly onto the roots of expensive, mature trees. Last year, a tree died. It cost us thousands of dollars to take it down, not to mention the cost of replacing a tree which is perhaps 60 years old.
  These people are incompetent, and they simply do not care. This is not the only mistake they have made. We should never, never have hired them again, and you should be warned. They are dangerously incompetent, and totally oblivious.
